Are Raven and Illuminate the same business?
No. Raven is independently owned by Karter “KJ” Leuallen. Illuminate contracts with Raven for KJ’s professional services. Raven is not owned by Illuminate.
Why might I use an Illuminate scheduling or billing system?
Some services, administration, or insurance arrangements may be coordinated through Illuminate. You will be told which practice, billing provider, consents, and privacy practices apply before treatment.
Can I use insurance?
Coverage depends on the specific service, provider, plan, and billing arrangement. When care is coordinated through Illuminate, benefits and participation are verified for KJ and your plan, including Medicaid where applicable. Consultation does not guarantee coverage.
How do I know where to complete paperwork?
After consultation, you’ll be directed to the applicable system. If your services are arranged through Illuminate, you may be directed to Illuminate’s website to choose KJ and complete the relevant intake steps.
Is an inquiry the start of a therapy relationship?
An initial inquiry or consultation request does not begin treatment. Clinical fit, consent, service arrangements, and scheduling are discussed before therapy begins.
